Fees

Sedation fees are based on duration of the treatment. An estimate will be provided based on expected total treatment time, with a minimum of 1 hour and thereafter in 30 minute increments.

Deposits:

A non-refundable deposit of $250 will be required to hold your booking. Sedation bookings fill up quickly, are often lengthy, and are exclusively set aside for you. As a result, if you miss your appointment, there will be a fail to attend fee of $150 per booked 30-minute block.

Cancellations:

Cancellation of booking requires a minimum notice period of 1 week. Rescheduling of the appointment without incurring cancellation fees may be possible depending on the amount of notice given, and at the discretion of Dr Fine.

Insurance:

Intravenous Sedation is not covered by Medicare. There may be a rebate available from your Private Health Insurance Provider if you have one. We will supply you with an itemized estimate. Item codes that may be used:

Payment:

Payments can be made prior to the appointment via our online payment portal, or on the day by cash or credit card (Visa/Mastercard only). All EFTPOS transactions will incur a processing fee equal that charged by the bank (currently 0.7% for debit, 1.5% for credit card) and subject to the bank’s variances from time to time. Fees current as of January 2024.
